Dear Customer
Like most IGU manufacturers and major UK and European glass suppliers, we are still unclear as to the impact of the UK Government’s Energy Bill Relief Scheme on our business energy costs. Considering this and the different Energy Surcharge methodologies used by different glass manufacturers, we have decided for clarity and consistency to maintain our Energy Surcharge fixed at the current rate for all deliveries until the end of 2022.
Once we receive more transparency from the UK Government and the expected new calculations and methods to be used by the glass manufacturers, we will advise accordingly and move forward with a new and hopefully a more uniformed calculation in 2023.
Therefore, the next review date and announcement regarding any new methodology and level of the Energy Surcharge will be on or around the 20th December 2022 before we close for the Christmas period.
